Transferring items between constructs would help create more specialized facilities and would allow for additional automation
Under consideration

EzghoulYea, not really sure why this one doesn't already work.. I mean we can already do this manually..

ElnaethI'd love this, as one of my plans is to create small static core BP's with dedicated refiner/smelter setups that I can easily copy paste to quickly scale up factories if needed. No need to manually move contents of those containers anymore then!

ArialineFor big base it will be nice , our organisation put 3 core static L near the first one to make a big base , it will be nice to put container of fuel for ship and materials for repair with transfer from our industries of the first factory

NoRezervationzI'm all for this! Would be better if you could link the cores and have them count as 1 core.

StephanatorI think this should be implemented as a special type of transfer unit that moves everything from the container it's attached to to the receiving special transfer unit on the other construct. Imagine being able to land on a station, and have the landing crew link to your fuel intake to refuel your ship, while another person links your cargo to be offloaded into the refinery. maybe have the ability to set it to only move a type of fuel, to move all ores, to move all ammo, or to move everything. That way, you can have dedicated fuel hookups, ammo resupply, ore transfer or general cargo transfer, each with different sets of permissions.

WyndleDefinitely want. I see great potential for setting up a literal supply train. Automate a construct to move on rails that goes between different tiles delivering cargo based on RDMS flags. It could also refuel itself with this. This combination could boost the ability to build massive cities or even nations.
Considering Elnaeth's post, this could also serve to reduce performance impacts from mega-industry cores. Having an L core packed with barely room to move and so many thousands of links just isn't practical (from performance and design perspectives). Inter-construct item movement would organically lead to specialized industry units that would be more efficient and effective from server side as well as gameplay.
