Add a mirror mode that let's you place voxels mirrored to each other.
Set copt paste to allow far more voxels to be copied at once.
Set copy/paste to maintain voxelmancy shapes instead of changing vertex priority on paste and ruining the shape.
Allow elements to be mirrored.
Add a means of including elements in mirroring and copy/pasting.

mr pocketsMax selection size is too small!! Upvote this for higher quality ships.
You can switch between paste priorities to overwrite existing vertices by holding shift while pasting a selection. -

DrakeBrimstoneFYI, Mirroring Voxels already exists, it is a function of the Rotate (default R) key. It isn't just for rotating! That said, yes, improvements are needed.

Teufelaffe@DrakeBrimstone - That's not the same thing. NQ needs to add a "mirror on plane" functionality for both voxels and elements so that when enabled and you place something, it *automatically* places the same thing, reversed along the selected plane, and in the exact relative location on the other side of said plane. I.e., enable mirror function, add voxel/element to side A of construct and an exact, reversed duplicate of said voxel/element is automatically added to side B of construct.

MorfiusYes this would be a great feature improvement, also a symmetry mode to turn on so while you are placing voxels on one side of the Symmetry voxels are automatically placed on Opposite side

WyndleX, Y, and Z axis mirror planes have been implemented in various build and play games and in the vast majority of those it is the difference in attracting or discouraging new players and new designs. At present, the voxel building system is too complex to interest most of the gamers I personally know; most of whom purport to love building and design in Minecraft, The Sims, etc. Adding an easy to use mirror plane system should significantly lower the barrier to entry for a portion of that crowd.
One important item to note, there needs to be a toggle for offset between 0 and 1. This will allow for the center of the plane to be a single row of non-mirrored voxels (offset 0) down the center or for the mirror plane to hug a face of the voxels making the center line two voxels wide (offset 1). -

TomFor the love of god, this game is a time sink. Please add the above mentioned functionality. It'll save those players investing dozens of hours to make your game pretty by making things attractive. It takes forever to build something, and copy/paste errors are cumulative as the structure gets bigger. To say nothing of elements then need unique rotations etc. Try replicating that on the other side! Please add actual mirroring for both voxels and element placement.
