Secure options for construct trading, via dispensers
- Options to better protect the ownership of sold constructs (Lua content protection, limitation of voxel copy,...)
- Ability to preview the content of a dispenser for more trustworthy transactions
- introduction of single run blueprints to include into dispensers for selling constructs

PoljackAs a builder of ships and my preferred way of earning money The current system just doesn’t suit, your essentially selling your biggest asset for reproduction anywhere a single run blueprint or core locked ship sale means you own the rights to your creations.

sysadriftHighest priority here should be Lua protection as it represents the most valuable intellectual property of some orgs/players. If you sell a blueprint or construct today, the Lua can just be copied and resold by anyone who owns it, and eliminates the resale value for ships with custom Lua as the selling point.

TaxetTiaAbsolutely key. My #1 super long, anxiously awaited item - protection of sold IP. All players will benefit from having smarter, prettier constructs available for sale - a lot of very beneficial things are not on the market because of inadequate protection.

GerdiemanIt would be great if there was an element that allowed us to buy a set list of items much like an opposite version of the dispenser that allows for buying the items for a set amount of quanta. ex. interact to have 100 Hematite ore taken out of inventory and get paid 1000 quanta.

Morningtoncould dispensers be changed to also have a 'cost' in specific ores to access the contents, so they could act as a simple org barter system? e.g. put 2000 of each T1 ore in and you get a blueprint and materials to print a construct?

DubbleAs time goes, there may be "space lawyers" that settle trademark and copyright disputes. Doing something like this would potentially cut off a part of the game in the future. I am therefore against this change.
The ability to view dispenser contents would without a doubt make sense though, makes no sense to buy something you can't even see what is. -

dragonspaceI think a player should be able to modify a ship that they buy. That being said, I think that introducing single or limited run blueprints would be good. Hiding Lua marked proprietary would be nice, but players should be able to augment their purchased creations with any additional Lua they desire, or even completely replace them. So when considering the concerns of shipwrights, please also consider "after market" scenarios for buyers, such as buying a reliable ship and tricking it out.

MEGABOSSLORDIt is vital that players be able to protect assets sold from copying and resale, to protect the value of their work and in turn promote time investment in complex creations - in turn fostering better assets for the whole community and competition between designers. The combination of creation, persistence and player run economy makes this a key point of difference from other games. I'm so happy JC addressed this in yesterday's Twitch interview.
